it's a marketing company but one where you pay me to receive information. This only works if I can find information that is valuable enough to you. This aligns the incentives of marketing.
----
But I think I need to run it as a non profit because sometimes I find a source of information that is very high quality (like a blog, or youtube channel) and instead of me giving you drips from it and getting paid per piece, I can just tell you the source so you can get it directly. This is good for you, and for that youtube/blog, long term, but puts the "connector" out of work.
The "connector" will always have this problem (making themselves obsolete if they do a really good job). I'm trying to lean into that / mark that as success (by getting paid to pave & maintain these "information highways" instead of just paid per delivery)
target a domain on X, and we will send our agents to (1) identify and mediate arguments (2) engage in 'arguments' in a good faith way
besides for this practice we will document our findings in an agreed structure before hand
--you get: a positive influence on the culture you chose, interesting data on how people there deal with conceptual conflicts, and a document that captures these findings
Another way to think about it is that the regular "anatomy" game is for fun and entertainment, and maintaining the network. It can make money that way (imagine a YouTube channel or a book or a comic series). And the special targeting you describe is a service we offer (mediation, background check, input or output)
If there's an important truth that needs to propagate, or an important question, we can put it in the queue for all the "players" / agents to tackle and report back. All done transparently
Yes! We can keep doing it "for free" right now for practice and to advertise the service/for public benefit, but people who have specific questions/needs/target areas can fund the work and get us to prioritize what they need (this is the same model that many open source projects use to fund themselves - they already plan to do the work but will take money to prioritize/accelerate good work)
Top of the list is investors who have money to spend and want information on how best to allocate it / want the background check service (would allow us to test the capability of the network(s) to surface the necessary information)
Or those who have already spent money and want an "external audit".
I think this will be easier to sell when we put together the "successful case studies". Early stage companies who are trying to figure out how to launch/attractor builders & investors & talent are the ideal target customer, but it only pays off long term and is kind of risky.
Interesting! I think that's a great start, but it sounds like it needs more clarity. There is probably a perfect archetype who cares a lot about what you're doing and wants someone who is as passionate and clever as you to do it for them. I wonder what they are motivated by...
Can you 'splain it to me like I'm 12? 🙂

were early enough thst we can do it for free at a target if a potential investor would want to see what it looks like . start building a portfolio
